Fallujah University Participates in the First Meeting of the Specialized Committee for Combating Illegal Immigration
Fallujah University, represented by the Assistant Director of the Legal Affairs Department, Eng. Ahmed Abdul Khader Jassim, participated on Monday, November 11, 2024, in the work of the first meeting of the Specialized Committee for Combating Illegal Immigration, which was held in the Anbar Governorate building, in the presence of a number of representatives of the relevant departments in the governorate.
The meeting discussed reviewing the mechanism for preparing and implementing the comprehensive national plan to reduce the phenomenon of illegal immigration, and discussing the most prominent axes of the plan, which includes studying the main causes of this phenomenon and ways to address it.
The participants stressed the need to activate the role of government institutions and civil society organizations in raising awareness of the dangers of illegal immigration, while stressing the importance of enhancing regional and international security cooperation to combat smuggling and human trafficking networks.
Fallujah University's participation comes within the framework of its active role in addressing societal issues and contributing to finding sustainable solutions to the challenges and problems facing Iraqi society.
